We try to look out for your interests here at road.cc - including your career prospects! - so here’s an early heads-up about what for some could be their dream jobs at London 2012.
How about the role of Road Cycling Technical Operations Manager? Whoever gets this job will be responsible for the delivery of the road cycling competitions in 2012, ensuring the competition is organised and conducted in accordance with International Federation rules and regulations, the International Olympic Committee Charter and the Host City Contract.
There are further vacancies for a Route Sector Manager with similar responsibilities to those described above and a Cycling Services Manager responsible for the planning, organisation, management and conduct of the administration functions of the cycling events at the Olympic Games and Paralympic Games.

I used to go that way to work. It's nasty and congested. I doubt any changes will make the congestion worse.

Seems like there is a bit of seeking Publicity here ! Surely this close to the start of 2012 Events there is an incumbent in eaxch of these positions , possibly from Sydney, Athens or Beijing !
Could they have forgotten these important jobs like the Floors for the Velodrome ?
