White is the new grey - RadioShack reveal 2011 kit (+ video)

Teaser video also reveals appearance of Twitter logo on jersey

Team RadioShack has issued a teaser video showing glimpses of the new 2011 kit it will debut in the Tour Down Under which starts this week and is likely to be Lance Armstrong’s final international race.

Grey is out, and instead it’s white that dominates on the torso, together with the electricals retailer’s symbol of a capital letter R within a circle – although we’re sure we’re not the only people who think more of Rouleur’s logo when we see it.

Another point of interest is that the logo of social network website Twitter, of which Lance Armstrong is one of the more high-profile users, appears, although it doesn't actually figure in the list of sponsors on the team website.

The team line-ups for the Tour Down Under, and the Cancer Council Classic which precedes it, are as follows:

Cancer Council Classic , Adelaide, 16 January 2011

Riders: Lance Armstrong, Manuel Cardoso, Ben Hermans, Markel Irizar, Robbie McEwen, Gregory Rast & Robbie Hunter
Directors: Johan Bruyneel & José Azevedo

Santos Tour Down Under (Aus), 18-23 January 2011

Riders: Lance Armstrong, Manuel Cardoso, Ben Hermans, Markel Irizar, Robbie McEwen, Gregory Rast & Robbie Hunter
Directors: Johan Bruyneel & José Azevedo

A massive improvement. Didn't bother the England footie squad and Man Utd "experiment" with grey away kits in the 90s and both with disastrous results? (Though obviously much harder to tell with the England team).

Grey flashes can be ok but large panels are a no no.

I certainly feel that the new Shack kit is a little more exciting than Team Leopard. I quite like TLs kit and it is quite classy but just lacks a little pizzaz.

Alotronic, this is the worst kit ever, and it cannot be surpassed in its awfulness:

Disgusting.

Thank god for that. The grey was possibly the worth strip of the naughties... Nope, I can't think of a worse one.

Better than the grey/red from last year, I think.
