New website for Herne Hill velodrome campaign

Positive developments expected to be announced this week

As news filters out from the first riders to hit the boards at the new Olympic velodrome that it is possibly the world’s fastest, elsewhere in London the fight goes on to save what is undoubtedly one of the most historic.

Built in 1891, Herne Hill Velodrome is the sole surviving venue from the 1948 London Olympics and as they battle to guarantee its survival, the Save the Velodrome campaign has just gone live with a new website.

The campaign has quickly gathered momentum since its launch in October last year and news is expected of further positive developments later this week. Stay tuned!
