If you're at a loose end in the Bath/Bristol area this evening, or you're at a really loose end somewhere further afield, then why not pop down to the John's Bikes Christmas Cracker this evening? There will be mince pies, we're reliably informed. And mulled wine. Oh, and some bikes and that.
John's is in Bath's famous Walcot Strret, and from 5.30pm tonight it's open house for a bit of pre-Christmas merriment. Will Fotheringham will be there, signing copies of his Cyclopedia, and you'll be able to ogle over some pretty high end bike porn, including Lance's Team Radioshack bike, a Trek Speed Concept TT machine and some shiny new De Rosas, hopefully that disco biscuit Merak that they had at the Cycle Show.
On top of that you'll be able to have a poke at the new Garmin Edge 800 GPS and have a look at some new electric bikes (including the Kona Electric Ute which Dave is going to rock up on and park outside, if the battery is charged in time). Endura's new winter clothing will also be on show, as will a goodly range of kids' bikes in time for Christmas.
Sound like fun? We think so, so see you there. http://www.johnsbikes.co.uk/
