Tour of Britain 2010 DVD released + Schwag winner!
90 minutes of ToB footage, and we've got one to give away!
Tour of Britain 2010 DVD
This year's Tour of Britain was a big success, and if you missed any of the action then don't fear: for the first time, organisers SweetSpot have produced an official highlights DVD set allowing you to relive the race from your comfort of your armchair. Or possibly from the discomfort of your turbo trainer.
The DVD contains 90 minutes of footage from the race, including all the dramatic bunch sprints and the climb up Constitution Hill that shaped the podium. You can relive Michael Albasini's battle to the yellow jersey in the face of strong competition from Vacansoleil and Team Sky. As well as all that there's outtakes from the broadcasts and a feature on the Prostate Cancer Charity ride, and there's a second DVD thrown in which includes 50 minutes of 2009 highlights.
“Every year we get people asking whether there would be a Tour of Britain highlights DVD available, but the number of those requests were particularly high in the build up to this year’s Tour, showing the popularity of the race”, said Commercial Manager Alastair Grant.
“Following the tremendous success of this year’s Tour we are very pleased to be able to offer our fans the chance to purchase highlights of the race, which I’m sure will live long in the memory of all the spectators who came to the roadside and supported The Tour.”
If you want one of the DVD sets then you can get them from official ToB clothing suppliers Provision Clothing's website at www.provisionclothing.com - click on latest products bottom left, then select the ToB category. The DVD is priced at £19.99 but the nice Tour of Britain folks have given us one to give away to a lucky reader - just comment and you're in the hat. You've only got until tiffin time today though, so be quick about it!
