Paris-Roubaix winner Magnus Backstedt to ride Severn Bridge Sportive

Your chance to ride with one-day classics winner

A touch of (world) class will be in evidence at the forthcoming Severn Bridge Sportive following the news that 2004 Paris-Roubaix winner Magnus Backstedt has confirmed his entry.

Taking place on Sunday October 17, the event which is based at the historic Castle Combe motor racing circuit, takes in the stunning scenery of the south Cotswolds before crossing the iconic original Severn Bridge into south Wales.

Once there, the route splits – with the longer course heading for the Forest of Dean and Gloucester before heading for home, whilst the shorter route heads back across the River Severn into England to make its way back to Castle Combe. The event is fully supported with a very well signed route, electronic timing, event photography, mechanical support, well stocked feeds and much more.

To join Magnus Backstedt, and the rest of the riders on the 2010 Severn Bridge Sportive visit www.severnbridgesportive.co.uk
