Video: Frome Cobble Wobble 2010 + bonus headcam vid

Relive classic cobble wobbling moments from this year's Frome Cobble Wobble...

Charge Bikes have just released a great video of this year's Frome Cobble Wobble the 179 yard (163m) hill climb that took place up Catherine Hill in the centre of the Somerset town 10 days back when it was still summer.

This year's event was the only the second ever, but already the Cobble Wobble has struck a chord with cheering crows and locals and riders from across the west… our own Commuter diarist, Flo-K  put in a respectable time, taking on talent from further afield, there was even a chap from Yorkshire there this year, fella by the name of Akrigg.

Check out his exploits in the final King of the Cobbles race, where the winners of all the various races fought it out to be crowned King of the Cobbles… okay, he won on an only slightly tweaked trials bike too, a pretty awesome display.

Oh and as a bonus video treat here's Neil Thayer's helmet cam footage - although be warned all that cam-wobbling over the cobbles might make you feel slightly sea sick. If all this has whetted your appetite for some possible 2011 Cobble Wobble action keep an eye on www.cobblewobble.co.uk you can also take a look at the course, and pore over the 2010 results while you're there.
