Eurobike 2010 video: road.cc interviews Jens Voigt

We didn't make him say 'shut up legs', but we did want to...

There's lots to see at the Eurobike show – 13 halls of bikes, components and kit – and some famous faces too. Sometimes you get to see them, sometimes you get to shake their hand... and every now and then you get to interview them.

If we'd had to pick someone to sit down for a chat with, Saxo Bank's Jens Voigt would have been high on the list. We love him for his no-nonsense, all-or-nothing approach to professional cycling which has won him more friends than most.

Mat caught up with him at the FSA stand to talk about the season just gone, the changes for next year, and what makes him the icon that he is...

Dave is a founding father of road.cc, having previously worked on Cycling Plus and What Mountain Bike magazines back in the day. He also writes about e-bikes for our sister publication ebiketips. He's won three mountain bike bog snorkelling World Championships, and races at the back of the third cats.

I like it how Matt can't help but have a massive grin on his face throughout the whole interview. A massive sign of respect to the big man

Cool... though I wish you'd have asked who would win a fight between him and Stuart O'Grady.

I'd pay to see that.

It's a video interview, so the box a the bottom, just made the title a bit clearer on that one 1

Definitely a Question of Sport 'What Happened Next?' moment at 1'20"

Wasn't expecting that Not sure Ivan was, either 4

As for Jens, what a legend, let's hope next year isn't his last... mind you, he'll be 39 next week.
