After the success of Sky Ride Bath in July, converts and committed cyclists alike are being encouraged to enjoy a series of free, local rides taking place until the end of Autumn.
Around 6000 people took to the streets of the historic city for the Sky Ride and now Sky, in partnership with British Cycling and Bath and North East Somerset Council (Banes), is backing the series of weekend rides which will be led by British Cycling trained cycle leaders.
The Sunday events will cater for small groups from beginners and families to more experienced levels on routes taking in historic sites and local beauty spots. The free events will run in Bath and North East Somerset from now until the end of the autumn.
Brian Johnston, the new British Cycling Recreation Manager for the South West hosted by Banes, is backing the project.
"I cannot think of a nicer way to spend a Sunday morning," he told the BBC.
"A well organised ride with super ride leaders and a very friendly bunch of people - I would recommend these rides to anyone."
Banes' cycling champion, Councillor Roger Symonds said: "These Sky Local events will provide organised rides for all levels of ability.
"They are an opportunity for all those who mean to get on their bikes and don't get round to it - you don't have to be a 'cyclist' - just get on a bike and ride."
