Japanese forests, Brompton views & more this #mycyclingweekend

We asked for scenery this #mycyclingweekend, we got serious scenery

When we asked for spectacular scenery this #mycyclingweekend we were expecting wide vistas and cloudy British valleys. We got some of those, but to ours and Cycle Surgery's surprise, we also got something a bit cooler.

This weeks winner, and the lucky recipient of Cycle Surgery's prize of three premium Muc-Off brushes, sent a photo from the other side of the world.

Ian Dagnall's strangely haunting photo of the debris-filled forest near the city of Buzen in Japan has won this week's prize, if only for its totally difference to everything else we saw this weekend.

That's not to say that the rest of the photos weren't great - they were!

A couple of you hamstrung yourselves by forgetting to include the #CycleSurgery hashtag, which is a shame, but your photos were all fantastic.

Instagram user rjsh11 posted this great shot of his Brompton overlooking the Spanish hills in Marbella.

And dnfndr, also on Instagram, took this wonderful photo of the hairpinning bends down a wonderful mountainside in Bellagio, Italy.

The photos this week were fantastically diverse, from a wonderful selection of locations, and represented a great selection of the wonderful places we spend so much of our time.

Keep 'em coming this week! All you've got to do is remember to include the hashtags on your social media posts.

Remember, that's the #mycyclingweekend hashtag and the #CycleSurgery hashtag. Don't forget!

Before we go, here are a selection of our other favourites from this week's batch of photos:
