Like a beer after a ride? And a shower? Why not combine the two!

A beer specially designed to be chugged in the shower has come onto the market, combining two important post-ride rituals for many road.cc riders.

Swedish brewery PangPang has come up with the micro-sized 180ml Shower Beer, designed to be finished by the time you’re lathered up and towelled off.

The beer makes up for its size with its strength though - as the pale ale comes in at 10% ABV, much more potent than many other lagers.

“Shower Beer is a sweet but strong pale ale in a 18 cl small bottle meant to gulp in three sips while standing in the shower getting ready for the night,” said creative agency Snask, who was asked to come up with Shower Beer.

Brewer Fredrik “PangPang” Tunedal came up with the beer itself, while Snask worked on the packaging.

A first batch of the product sole out immediately, so while the launch was a one-off promo, the brewery has now announced more to come.
