We've all got cycling goals. This week, mine is to finally clean a bike that's needed cleaning for about two months, while the gang at Cycle Surgery just want to give one of you a Genuine Innovations CO2 inflator. But what are your goals?

One of you have already announced your intentions for this #mycyclingweekend: train.

Grahamt83 on Instagram ticked something off his cycling goals list recently: encounter a live road block. We hope you've got more on your cycling bucket list fella!

 

 

Obviously, not all goals are vocalised or even conscious, and only become clear when you're experiencing them. We've certainly done it a few times here at road.cc. Crest a hill on a misty winters morning to a stunning above-cloud valley view, accidentally smash a Strava personal best, find the most fantastic mid-ride cafe; we've all been there.

So, don't put any goal-oriented pressure on yourselves this #mycyclingweekend. Get out there, ride, and see where your handlebars take you.

Remember, though, if you want a chance at winning this weekend's prize. Pop the #CycleSurgery hashtag on the end of your post, alongside the #mycyclingweekend one, and you'll have a chance at winning.

Hi cyclesteffer - that's great to hear. I'd like to blame ethereal presences for the lack of round-up Halloween piece on Tuesday, but I've got to hold my hand up and say that I didn't manage to throw an article together before the hours of the day ran out.
It won't happen again. Should you throw your #mycyclingweekend hat into the mix I can promise that you stand a chance of being included in the follow-up that will definitely happen on Monday!

Hoping to follow the London to Brighton Veteran Car rally on Sunday. If the weather holds!

Yes I know this isn't the same rally, I ran into these splendid machines at Snape Maltings on the way back from the Dunwich Dynamo in 2013.
