Table topper Alex Long visits CycleSurgery to claim his £600 KHS bike

The Fantasy Tour de France is but a distant memory now, and we're gearing up for the Fantasy Vuelta with a tweaked game engine and a slightly amended set of rules – look out for that one soon! In the meantime winner Alex Long visited his local CycleSurgery in Chertsey to pick up his prize – a £600 KHS Flite 300 road bike.

"The bike is absolutely ace, I'm chuffed to bits", said Alex, who topped the Fantasy TDF tables with 1,800 points. "It's actually much, much better than I thought it would be. Anyway big thanks to road.cc and Cycle Surgery for sorting this all out for me. The guys in the shop were very helpful and informative. They also didn't laugh too much when I told them the geeky way in which I'd won the bike!"

We've been collating all the names and addresses from the other winners too, and we'll be sending out the CycleSurgery jerseys and road.cc spot prize tees in the next couple of weeks. And Fantasy Vuelta will probably be open for business at the start of next week. Stay tuned!

Dave is a founding father of road.cc and responsible for kicking the server when it breaks. In a previous life he was a graphic designer but he's also a three-time Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling world champion, and remains unbeaten through the bog. Dave rides all sorts of bikes but tends to prefer metal ones. He's getting old is why.
