Police seek man who threw bike at car in Norfolk

Sounds more like she was aiming straight at him and swerved away at the last second to "teach him a lesson". I'm inclined to agree with giff77. Sounds more like he was retaliating at an aggressive driver.

Fair enough really, motorists throw their cars at everyone day in day out do they not?

It's a totally normal thing to do... throw your bike at a random passing car for no apparent reason... happens all the time around here. Suspect one side of this story is not the whole truth.

Here it is described as a bike thrown into oncoming traffic. The plot thickens...

Defenceless ? She was in a ton of metal box.... Also reported that she wasn't injured, so she was defended, by the ton of metal box. 

I got knocked off by a driver who damaged my bike, I was ok, but the driver didn't stop. I reported it to the police but they weren't interested as I wasn't injured. I wish did realised all I had to do was say "I was a bit shocked" and they would have investigated. 

Possibilities are endless, would love to know the cause of this meltdown.   I'm going to idly speculate a bad day, went out for a nice Norfolk country ride, had a mechanical 40 miles from home, walked it back suffering dehydration and lack of will to live, first car in ages offered no help and he had a breakdown.

No excuses for throwing a bike at someone, or their car though.   I've thrown mine down a grass verge once, and regretted it a minute later.

Hmm ... trying to think of a sequence of events that could in any way  justify throwing a bicycle at a defenceless woman in retaliation ..... 

No, I give up.

Maybe he'd just failed to get KOM on his very favourite Strava section due to a flat (hence was walking), and just had a total meltdown about it.  Went home and kicked the cat, too.

Why are the Police bothering with asking for actual witnesses, when so many people seem to know just what happened?

Hmmm.... so this man, a cyclist, dressed in cycling clothing, decided to just throw his bike at this womans car, for absolutely no reason?

He was walking along, with his bike, in cycling clothes, waiting for someone who looked vulnerable enough so that he could throw his bike at them?

To me, one of three things have happened here;

1. A cyclist has had a total cycling meltdown and rejected the bike in a most public and violent way... 

2. The driver has told an at best, edited version of events, omitting the part where her actions provoked the cyclist to such an extent he threw his bike at her car. 

3. The driver has knocked off a cyclist, and in the most cynical course of action possible has taken a pre-emptive approach of stating that she has been a victim of road rage.

I am intrigued to see how this one plays out. 

Cowardly fuck! Probably a wife beater too. Bet he would never do that to a bloke. That sort never pick on people their own size.

Is this like when people 'throw themselves repeatedly at a wall', officer...?

That guy must be superhuman, or she was going very very slowly indeed.

Hmm, random bike throwing. a) it's random b) it's tenous c) it's a horrible thing to do to any bike. Get rid of this sick filth now.
