WE HAVE A WINNER! VIP hospitality at Halfords Tour Series in Kettering this Thursday

Get wined and dined by the start and finish line and enjoy some great racing to boot

Well. Tiffin time has been and gone, and the lucky winner for VIP hospitality at tomorrow's Halfords Tour Series Round 6 in Kettering is... drum roill... swh, who wrote "These tickets would be perfect for me. It's the only one in the series i can actually get to watch live."

Well, now swh and guest will have the opportunity of watching the race in style - congratulations, and look out for an email winging your way soon from road.cc.

Commiserations for those who were unlucky, but don't forget there will be more opportunities coming up to win hospitality at the rounds in Peterborough, Stoke-on-Trent and Chester, so look out for those here on road.cc very soon!

=======================================================

The fifth round of the Halfords Tour Series takes place tonight in what is likely to be a rainswept Southport – well, we are talking about the British seaside in June, after all – but we’re already looking ahead to Thursday’s race in Kettering, with once again a pair of VIP hospitality tickets up for grabs thanks to the generosity of the organisers.

The tickets give you fantastic views of the start and finish line, and also include the chance to enjoy some fine food beforehand, with a free bar open before and during the race. Hospitality opens at 5.30pm, so you’d need to get to Kettering by then or shortly after, with racing getting under way at 7pm.

The prize, which is for two people, includes:

• Exclusive views of the finish line and end-of-race podium presentations

• Buffet Dinner with accompanying wines

• Complimentary bar (alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages)

• Tea and coffee served all day

• A few words from Tour Series Chief Executive, Hugh Roberts or Technical Director, Mick Bennett

• Official Tour Series programme

• Experienced hostess and wait staff to ensure the smooth running of your day.

Thursday evening’s race is sure to draw decent crowds from Northamptonshire and beyond – Cambridge, Bedford and Leicester are all within easy striking distance – and the local council has announced details of park & ride facilities for the day, which you’ll find here.

We’ll also be running similar competitions for the rounds in Peterborough, Stoke-on-Trent and Chester, so watch out for news of VIP tickets for those here on road.cc.

To enter, just put make a comment in the thread below – normal road.cc competition rules apply, so only one entry per person, and good luck. We’ll be drawing the lucky winner’s name at Tiffin time on Wednesday.
