But you can still get tickets to watch the action

If you fancy some competitive roller action this Friday, the bad news is that entries are full for Rollapaluza's Kingspin 2 event at the Kingpin suite in central London. The good news is though that spectator tickets are still available so you can pop along, soak up the vibe and work up a sweat enjoying the action, the beer and the music instead.

80 riders have signed up for the event, a Rollapaluza record that includes a 23 women riders and 16 men's and 8 women's madison teams.

Kingspin 1 was won by Simon Jackson and Matt Theobalds C.S. Grupetto) and they will be back to defend their title as will the self styled Old Gits, Lee Povey and Dave Le Grys. In the women's event current Rollapaluza winter league leader Rachel Przybylski teams up with Rebecca Charlton of cycling.tv to challenge Estelle Rogers and Agata Woznika of the more experienced "Team Trouble".

The even is sponsored by London bike shop Tour de Ville who are putting up £1200 worth of prizes (wish you'd signed up now?). Racing starts at 7pm and runs through till 1am and the bar is open until 3am.
Djs on the night are Boycey, Pajamas and KHY Boogie and the MC is the legendary Stevie.
