Video interview: Thor Hushovd talks to road.cc

Norwegian sprint ace tells us about his plans for the 2009 season

He won the Tour de France green jersey in 2005, he aims to do the same in 2009 and when he's in a sprint he's always a contender. Thor Hushovd is one of the bigger obstacles Mark Cavendish will have to overcome this summer if he is going to win the green jersey. We talk to him today on road.cc.

You can hear his views on the current state of the sprint scene and, yes Mr Cavendish gets a name check amongst others. He also talks about his aims to bag a classic win to add to his 2006 victory in Gent-Wevelgem. Milan San Remo and Paris Roubaix are his Spring targets although as team mate, Roger Hammond is also out to win the Hell of the North it could all get very interesting… find out how Thor thinks that's going to work. What he thinks of his new bike (you guessed, he likes it). Plus: Thor's take on Tour team tactics…the little matter of how one team will chase two jerseys in this year's Grand Boucle.
