#mycyclingweekend - The Tour de France is... over there

It may be a little further from home this year, but we're still pretty excited! How are you celebrating this #mycyclingweekend?...

It's tomorrow, it starts tomorrow! That's right, the most anticipated day on the cycling calender is here.

Before you all start shouting at once, I'm not talking about the 17th edition of #mycyclingweekend, exciting though that is, I am of course talking about the 102nd Tour de France!

Millions of us Brits are feeling a whole lot further away from the action this year as the Tour rolls out of Utrecht rather than Leeds. However, there are twelve Brits who have certainly made the trip.

That's right, twelve. Ten professional riders and our tech editors Mat and David, who are covering all the tech talk that's coming out of the tour - plus Instagramming loads of pretty bikes.

They'll be joined by Chris Froome, Mark Cavendish, Peter Kenneugh, seven other racing brits, and 188 other professional riders who will be tackling mountains and swealtering heat over the next three weeks.

So while they're all off on arguably the greatest competetive athletic feat known to man, what will you be doing?

Maybe you'll be out watching the Tour, like this fella:

Or perhaps you spotted our RideCatcher segment earlier in the week and have decided to tackle a big old ride in a group to psych yourself up for Tour fever.

Or perhaps, like us you've decided just to head out on your normal weekend's ride. I'll probably be popping back down to Madrid's Casa de Campo park to do a bit more exploring. Pretty ain't it:

If you're riding somewhere completely different, let us know! If you're doing something we've mentioned here, let us know! If you're not riding your bike at all, but you're looking, thinking, or touching anything to do with bikes, please, let us know!

To join in, just pop the #mycyclingweekend hashtag into any of your social media posts and we'll hunt you out!
