Video: Trials rider Chris Akrigg gives it some fixed gear welly in Barcelona

Akrigg rides fixed for a second time … first go wasn't a fluke then...

Trials rider Chris Akrigg has taken his Mongoose Maruice fixed bike to Barcelona with predictably spectacular results mainy involving riding up the sides of unfeasibly steep things - something he showcased in his first vid riding across the Westbury White Horse.

That was the Mongoose sponsored trials rider's first go at riding fixed this is his second and was shot on a recent trip to Barcelona. Two goes in and as far as we can see he is setting the bar in terms of what can be done on a 700c fixed bike… if you don't believe us watch the vid below and then ponder about what he might be capable of third time out.
