Colnago make the EPS Di2-friendly

Story weight:

Colnago's EPS is certainly a striking looking bike, and one that's interesting from a technological perspective too. The Carbon lugged frame is fashioned from Colnago Omega Carbon – the lugs and tubes are both produced in Italy – and the build process means that the Italian outfit can offer the EPS in a startling 22 different sizes off the peg, from a short 42cm to a gate-like 65cm. And if that's not enough, you can have it as a custom build.

That's all well and good, but if you've forked out your £3099.99 for the frame (plus EPS full Carbon fork and headset) and you want to deck it out with Di2, until now you'd have been disappointed. Until now: UK distributors Windwave have just let us know that the EPS is now available with internal cable routing optimised for Shimano's electric shiftery.

You've chosen your groupset, and the stealth black look pictured above certainly complements it well. But if you want something shoutier then the EPS is also available in a wide range of colours (seven on the Colnago website) and your bike will be in the safe hands of the chaps who paint frames for the professional riders of Bbox Bouygues Telecom and Colnago – CSF Inox.

For more information head to http://www.windwave.co.uk/colnago_dealers.html to find a Colnago centre near you. Colnago also have a test fleet of bikes in the UK, details are at http://www.windwave.co.uk/colnago_demobikes.html – though it looks like if you want to try an EPS for yourself you're heading down to Poole right now. There's plenty of other test bikes across the country though if you fancy taking a 'nagger out for a spin
