Take our simple quiz to find out!

Everyone's got an opinion on which cycling gear is the best. This one's too expensive. That one isn't up to the job. You could just buy a bin liner and cut some holes in it, etc and so on. But there's a world of cycling gear out there. Which should YOU choose?

Well, we're helpful souls here at road.cc, so we've put together this handy* quiz. Just answer the simple and not-at-all-leading questions and we'll match you up with one of ten popular cycling brands. What could be easier? We've made sure that we cater for everyone, from the bargain hunter through to the big spender. So take a couple of minutes out of your day to see what brand we recommend for you. Enjoy!

*OBVIOUS SATIRE DISCLAIMER: it's just a bit of fun, silly.

Dave is a founding father of road.cc and responsible for kicking the server when it breaks. In a previous life he was a graphic designer but he's also a three-time Mountain Bike Bog Snorkelling world champion, and remains unbeaten through the bog. Dave rides all sorts of bikes but tends to prefer metal ones. He's getting old is why.

I fall at the first question: "You're going for a ride and it looks pretty dismal out. What do you do?"

The "find something else to do instead" option is curiously absent.

Weird. I got Castelli. And I answered the questions as my own pigging brand. Tut.
So there is a fault and I'm suing.
Look out for something in the post.

I got thrown by the first sentence due to it containing 'Lob on' and 'donkey'.

So, so, childish...

Interesting, I just randomly put in all of the "knobish" answers and got Assos, then I put in the next level down and got Vulpine (which I think are better than Assos), Then came Dhb and finally came Lidl.

I'm glad that it wasn't Vulpine under what I am describing at "knobish" answers, all would be D is it was set out A,B,C,D

A would be Lidi
B is Dhb
C is Vulpine
D Assos

I can't be bothered doing all the different combo's. I wonder if Rapha is in there and how it ranks 24

Haha, Castelli. Not far off then. On the rain question I wanted a "rain, what rain?" answer though 3

Most of my kit is Shutt VR or Endura

stupid quiz OR stealth marketing survey? Eh? Illuminati, Bilderberg group etc. etc. ?? Isn't it?

Craft - apparently. In reality: Endura, Mavic, Aldi.
