British Cycling announces Melbourne Track World Cup squad

Team blends youth and experience as GB looks to build on Manchester success

British Cycling has announced the names of the 12 riders who will represent the country at the Melbourne round of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup, which takes place on the weekend of 19-21 November.

The squad includes 10 of the 12 riders who helped the country win 10 of the 17 gold medals available in the opening round of this season’s competition in Manchester last month, as well as up-and-coming riders Andrew Fenn and Katie Colclough, both endurance specialists.

Other than Ross Edgar, who represents Team Sky+ HD, all of the riders will sport the Team GB colours, and the full squad is as follows:
