Interesting link. Just plugging your own bike then? Anything more to say on it?
Is there a spam report button on road?
Not at all, simply that a true representative of a 50's French Randonneur can be reproduced successfully. You can always take a peep at jeffdownes6666.blogspot,com
Thanks for sharing the link. Its an absolutely beautiful bike and I can see the influence of Jan Heine - was it photographed for Bicycle Quarterly?
I'm really interested to hear how it rides and your thoughts on this style of bike. Jan is clearly a convert and pushes this style of bike with wide tyres, 650b wheels and low trail geometry. How does it ride in reality and how does it compare to a more traditional British road bike? I've never had the chance to ride something like this and probably never will but its seductive in its look and I've often daydreamed about building up something in this style.
