With my Allez Elite (2011) relegated to the role of commuter and winter trainer, thought it was time I treated it to some decent calipers and a pair of mudguards.
What I thougt was going to be a really simple job is causing me a bit of a headache...I eventually got the Tektro caliper off by undoing it from the front, turning the whole caliper!
I was expecting there to be a hex bolt at the back of the fork, but there doesn't seem to be, which makes fitting the new caliper and mudguard mounts tricky to say the least. Fairly confident this should all be doable, after all the Comp ran a full 105 group set and those are the calipers I'm trying to fit. Guidance would be much appreciated
