ToB Stage 1

by JohnnyRemo   September 15, 2013

It's blowing a hoolie and hammering down up here. Gonna be a lot of crosswinds. Today's stage could be a total lottery - either that or Cav will win again as expected...

...'spose I should get round to picking my teams then after the kicking I took in the Vuelta.

If it makes you feel better ter, my vuelta started badly and finished worse I don't think I managed to make fs top 20 which was my aim in all 3 gts this year Sad

Edit
1,2,3, apparently it's wasn't Modolo in 4th Waiting

How come Wiggins is 9th on GC?

He picked up a bonus second for the last of the sprints.

I'm not sure the scores are right for this stage. According to official results ( http://www.tourofbritain.co.uk/results/stage1/gc.php#.UjbKuFNeyEI ) Wiggo was 5th on GC but he's only got 4 points, not 6. Dunno if anything else is wrong.

They have changed the GC very late after the stage. That's why there are errors.

Wiggins should have got 8 points because he was also 3rd in the third sprint (2 points) and was 5th on GC (6 points).

Haas should have got 11 points because he was second in the third sprint (4 points) and was 4th in GC (7 points).

Seems he was 5th actually (although he hasn't got the fantasy points for it).
