Tuning Shimano RapidRise
I have a Shimano RapidRise rear mech - does the barrel adjuster work in the same way as on a conventional deraillieur? I find I am having to shift twice to move to the next biggest cog, but then click one back down again to stop the chain skipping in between two gears. When I hold the bike off the ground and change gears its fine, it only plays up when im riding

Thank you - 'll have a go this weekend.
If you mean does it tighten or loosen the tension on the cable, yes!
If you mean does tightening the cable pulls the chain out an easier gear/larger cog? No, it works the opposite way. More tension, harder gear/smaller cog.
