Well, some are tipping Gilbert for this one - a first win in the Rainbow Jersey. Not me. I suspect Valverde will have another go, but look out for Meersman...

...but what would I know?!

I'd pick Gerrans if pushed(or EBH if he was fully fit) but not enough to take out GC guys so the only riders I'd take out of my line up at this stage would be LuLu or Choo-Choo and that wouldn't give me enough credits for any of the real heavyweight puncheurs so I'll leave it.

Roche(replaces Intxausti)
Kreuziger(replaces Henao)
Uran
Valverde
Nibali
Zubeldia
Brajkovic
Txurruka
LL Sanchez

Might treat myself to a puncheur tomorrow IF any of the GC guys fall off the planet.

Not been impressed with Phil Gil this year but surely he will want to do something in the rainbow jersey ...this could well be his best chance...Not sure how healed his knee is but I think I am going to chance him...
Christ knows what happened to Henao yesterday, such a disappointment...Had to dump him today which goes against my better judgement, but we shall see...off out now so will name my failures early...

NIBALI
NIEVE
KREUZIGER
MAJKA
STYBAR
MEERSMAN
GERRANS
GILBERT
ZUBELDIA

No penalties...

Already taking penalty points... although I have a feeling one of the riders I've dumped could have a good day today.

Henao out, Roche in.
Sanchez out, Ulissi in.
Poels out, Majka in.

The sprint results I have given could be right. They could equally be wrong. There appears to be a bit of confusion as to where the intermediate sprints actually are.
Apologies

a crash has split the peleton.
Mollema is reported to be in 2nd group. Gerrans could be further back

Congratulating myself for picking Stybar over Intxausti at the last minute. Those 2 places will make all the difference.
