15 in the yellow group now with Fuglsang and Martin in front.
Things slow down; riders get back on. Serpa near the back.
I think I saw 116 which is Nieve. Yes, it is.
Not quite sure what Martin and Fuglsang are playing at. I think Valverde is happy to have Quintana put Froome under a bit of pressure but there'll be a group of 20-30 at the end. Valverde will be happy with second and Porte is too far back now to catch up on the ITT. Not good for my purist.
Poels on the attack.
Nieve well up there, who can sprint? Valverde? Evans?
Damn it i dropped fuglsang today for talansky
Schleck gets 1 mountain point.
Kwia still in there. He could sprint for the win.
Balls, it was going well until Kwiatkowski jumped off the front.
Rui Costa in there. Got him in my roaduk team. Could be sprint between Rui Costa and Kwia.
Fuglsang and Martin at 40" with Kwia chasing. Nieve still in the yellow group.
Fuglsang and Martin with 31". Kwia caught.
Gap down to 24". Belkin chasing. Nieve still in there. No Serpa.
Nieve near the front. Could it be a Euskaltel victory? Not likely. Don't know if he can sprint. Gap up to 32".
Martin and Fuglsang are going to make it.
Martin
Fuglsang
Kwia.
Froome and Nieve in about 10-12.
Porte out of it. Not good for my purists.

Valverde 11th
Froome 14th
Nieve 16th.
Quintana 19th.
Lowish scores today. Might climb a fraction but not much. Got 6 transfers for Tuesday at least. Roaduk team did ok but Pinot and Niemiec won't be back.
One of those days where I really shouldn't have bothered making any transfers (I'd traded Kwiatkowski & Random DS out for Nieve & Ten Dam).
Still, rest day coming - I've got the whole day to agonise over Cav vs. Sagan for stage 10.
I took out Kwiatkowski for Rolland, I think they will have around the same points. I took in Kreuziger for Rogers, so a few more points.
I was really hoping for Clarke to push on though
swapped moreno with porte
Well, it's not going to be a Sky fest. Pretty open tour with Froome still having a decent advantage but 2 or 3 tough stages to some. If they gang up on him big time could be like the Vuelta.
Over the two stages I got the basics right. This tour is between Froome and Valverde. Rolland will probably get the polka dots and Nieve is the only cheap climber worth having. It won't translate into a massive fantasy gain but at least I'm reading the race ok.
Movistar are in a great position now. Quintana can attack and Sky have to chase but Valverde is more of an overall threat. That being said, it'll be interesting to see what happens if Quintana (a half decent TTer) puts an chunk of time into Valverde on either TT.
Valverde used to be half-decent on TTs. He lost 30 secs to Froome on the Vuelta TT but that was up and down. Froome will gain between a minute and a minute and a half on the first one. Maybe 30 secs to a minute on the second one, assuming he's not been roughed up too much. Will Contador attack on a rolling stage like 14 or will Cannondale dictate that one? It's certainly not over but I would say that Froome can look after himself up to a point.
Thank you GKam84 for saying what I was thinking and getting it completely wrong! lol!
What a fascinating Tour it is going to be!
Fuglsang and Mollema can TT and are a real possibility for the podium and just perhaps more. Porte can cover Quintana for stage wins. Contador, Schleck, Rodriguez and the BMC guys can all have a go when they see opportunity. I see an enthralling tour shaping up, even if Froome does win, I still believe there is plenty to play for. Or maybe cycling in the sun softens my head! Or maybe it's the beers! and look out for De Ghent, Volckler, and Kruzinger too.
Took out Dan Martin
