Four changes for me... but kept in Sagan. Think he might have a pop at those intermediate sprints after the first climb (also tomorrow looks a bit weird for a high mountain stage and reckon he might be after the win).

Really wanted Pinot and Martin in but couldn't afford either of them, largely because of daft decision outlined above. Kreuziger, Frank, Kangert and Rui Costa are my big hopes.

I bought in Scarponi(stage win today?),Wyss(breakaway perhaps after the blow of IAM losing Haussler yesterday),and Mollema(stage and GC) for Sagan,Boonen and Double-H.

Incidentally if anyone wants someone removed from a race just let me know.....I'm the kiss of death at the moment(Haussler,Visconti,Hesjedal!!).

Purists (Sagan,Cancellara,Koch,Rasmussen,Grabsch,Kreuziger,Reichenbach,Amador,Spilak)

comfortably outperforming my Standards

(Wyss,Mollema,Kristoff,Saez,Scarponi,Nordhaug,Pauriol,RuiCosta,Amador).

My purist team is also outperforming by standard but I think that today may see that turn around. I had four transfers to use and brought in Pinot, Kreuzinger, Mollema & Tschopp (IAM - reckon he may go for the stage today, so similar thinking to having Wyss). Went for Tschopp over Kangert, so if Kangert wins ... 3

With 120km to go, the gap is 4:09 for Jose Joaquin Rojas (MOV), Eduard Vorganov (KAT), Andreas Klöden (RLT), Niki Terpstra (OPQ),
Manuele Mori (LAM), Damiano Caruso (CAN), Luis Leon Sanchez (BLA), Michael Morkov (TST), Daryl Impey (OGE), Adria Saez (EUS) 4 4 4 , Tomasz Marczynski (VCD), Johannes Fröhlinger (ARG), Georg Preidler (ARG) and Jean-Marc Marino (SOJ).

Gc looks like

1 Mathias Frank
2 Rui Alberto Faria da Costa
3 Roman Kreuziger
4 Thibaut Pinot
5 Bauke Mollema
6 Tejay van Garderen
7 Daniel Martin
8 Cameron Meyer
9 Tanel Kangert
10 Simon Spilak

I had 1,2,3,7,8 on the stage and 2,3,5,6,10 on GC.

I reckon that will be an average day though with a few having the first 4

Fair enough. It doesn't say DNF on the TdS results sheet :-

I'm keeping an eye on Feillu, I use the UCI and Official results to score, I don't touch Cycling News, to many errors that they are not quick to fix.

Sagan doesn't have any points 3http://live.tourdesuisse.ch/MatsportJson/07_TDS_Sprints.pdf

That can't be right can it? Sagan, Kristoff etc don't feature anywhere on that list for overall points?

Avatar

Because I explained on STAGE 2 if you had been paying attention.....The "points" competition in the TdS ONLY related to finish line points.

So I am using the SPRINTS competition to score the points. Rather than just rewarding those who finish high on a stage with extra bonus points

The sprint comp isn't scored according to the scoring info in game..however, the POINTS comp is..and Sagan is leading that by 55 pts and Demare 50 pts.
