Dave, are the badges still updating? Think I'm missing a couple from today but they usually update quite quickly.
Edit: scratch that, they're there now. Got a couple and now only one decent stage from 10k
212, would have been 222 had I not needed a penalty transfer, back up to 86th and considering Ive had some rather poor stages, to still be only 221 off the lead is good.
On another note ive reached 10k
Crap day today, completely meesed up the stage and ended up with 133. Very poor.
Ditto. 4 badges in one day is quite good although nearly everyone had more or less the same riders. Noticed you've been creeping up on me and are now a little ahead. Looks like our battle of last year is back on.
Just the three badges for me but assuming that tomorrow's Giro stage goes ahead I'm pretty confident of hitting 10k (might even manage it tonight).
So far I've made 20 penalty transfers (-200 points) and I'm 78th, 209 points behind the leader.
I'm not saying that by any means I'd be nearer the top of the table if I hadn't made those transfers but I think it's potentially a valid tactic to use. It all depends on how varied the stages are. For the Tour it may work better to throw in penalties before 3 or 4 days of similar terrain. The Giro has just been too varied and unpredictable to make it work consistently.
All a bit too easy and predictable today! 200+ points and 330th on the stage!
1,2,3,4 for my purist though, I bet that doesn't happen all that often in grand tours!
Very happy galibier still going ahead, even if 4k shorter. Will the break make it?
