Irish Clubs force Cycling Ireland to think again!!!!

Enough clubs have voted in the short time available to for Cycling Ireland to hold an EGM on the nomination of Pat McQuaid.

Essentially every club member now has a right to vote whether or not Pat McQuaid gets Ireland's nomination.

Statement reads:

"Cycling Ireland at a meeting of its Board on April 26th decided to convene an EGM to consider matters which have arisen following the decision taken at its Board meeting on April 12th, to nominate Mr Pat McQuaid to stand for the position of UCI President.
Details of the EGM will be circulated to all clubs early next week.
For and on behalf of the Board of Cycling Ireland,
Geoff Liffey,
Company Secretary.
26th of April 2013"
