Paris-Nice: Stage 4

Well, after todays stage where do we go from here. My main GC hope for the comp, Gesink, is over a minute down.

With seven cat climbs its going to be a very difficult day and the weather is supposed to be rubbish again tomorrow.

Time to wisely use my 2 transfers 39

You had me scoring today as Dave is at Icebike, hopefully I got it all done. Tommy V scoring big on the climbs today.

My team did BAD again, but I knew that as I didn't have time to study the race

Have the points for the KOM classification been added?

Yeah, why, what do you think is missing?

(I think) Tschopp's missing 5 points, Voeckler 4 & Meersman 3, although Grivko is only missing 1 and Keizer isn't missing any, so it might be something different.

Westra back
3 kms to go and Lieuwe Westra (VCD) is back in the front bunch. It is not the case of David Malacarne (EUC), third overall, who is 25 seconds off the pace.

Chavanel leading, Westra misjudged a corner and was dropped, Talansky up there somewhere.

Scarponi took the points for the cat 2 followed by Porte, Kloden and Grivko.

Philippe Gilbert (BMC), Ivan Basso (CAN), Thomas De Gendt (VCD) and Nairo Quintana (MOV) are among riders now dropped by the main pack.

Chavanel, Izagirre, De Gendt, Porte, Westra, Lofkvist, De Clercq or JTL

Any selection of those would do me nicely 19

Haussler or Hivert would be the best case for me although it's more likely to be Quintana, Porte, Talansky, Roche and Westra in top 20 that'll get me points.

Simon Clarke for the win, followed by Ulissi would do me

I wish it would just go live on Eurosport, I don't need yesterdays again, More live cycling and biathlon, less repeats 1

I'm also scoring it today for Dave, having not paid much attention at all to it, having been away, this could be fun 19

Sounds like Fugslang has the Schlecks.

Fuglsang out
Astana team leader Jakob Fuglsang of Denmark has given up.

Gap to the break is down to two minutes. This isn't staying out there although Voeckler might go on his own.

Sounds like he still has an eye on a breakaway but he may not be up to it.

Really? Oh crap, I left him in, if thats the case, my purist team is SCREWED. I'm already a few riders down

Also, I didn' realise that De Gendt crashed yesterday, I figured he was just sitting up to build up a time gap ahead of the mountains but apparently he came down fairly hard on the last descent.
