I've got 4 of Wig_Billy's in my standard but then Nibali,Montaguti,Reda,Pozzovivo and Cunego in place of those asterisked

Purists are Belletti,Valverde,Blythe,Cummings,Cunego,Niemiec,Gadret with Gasparotto plus Sagan not riding.

It'll be interesting to see how it pans out and just how seriously 'His Nibs' rides.

TDF had a 1 kilometre prologue in 1988.

Hell, if that had been more recent, it would almost have been worth signing up Chris Hoy and grabbing the maillot jaune for the day 3

Agree with livestrongnick about Roma Maxima history, but what about a 2.9km prologue as per Paris-Nice. any history on that one? 7

Toss up between sprinters and prologue specialists. I have a secret weapon up my sleeve...

i did have the winner in my team - Jimmy Engoulvent - but now he is not riding. I would give you a tip on where to look for the best info on the most recent short prologue but that would be telling 3

gone with the little boys. hoping for a breakaway and then a level crossing gets stuck and holds up the peleton. haven't had a rider in a break yet! 39

Oh poot. Having checked Nibali's Twitter feed, and Astana's website I was hoping he'd win and I could be smug. Now you're spoiling it by telling everyone. Darn it to heck, I can't even sneak an advantage.

He wasn't on the startlist released by organisers a few days ago and he wasn't mentioned in article about the race on official site yesterday.

the pick one team for all the races thing I missed that meeting, so a lot of my picks are redundant now, I will need to pay more attention, but it is difficult if not logging in all the time etc. Maybe there is an argument for not including 1 day races only a day apart in Purist leagues.

My understanding is that you pick one team for all three of Le Samyn, Strade Bianchi and Roma Maxima and that's it.

No transfers at all between the three.

Personally I think I might pick a team for Strade/Roma and largely ignore Samyn. Only problem though is that I'd have to pick my team before Samyn without knowing the full and final startlists for the others.
