one of these 10 will win, peleton now over 3 mins down
So someone came to the door and I missed it
1.Paolini
2.Vandenbergh
3.Vandousselaere
4.Thomas
5.GVA
6.Bandiera
7.Chavanel
8.Roelandts
9.Wynants
10.Egotiz Garcia
so 1,5 and 8 for me for my normal team and just 5 and 8 for my purist team
1,4,5,7,8 for me + whatever from the peleton
I saw your team and thought Wow good race for you
Appollonio 11th I think
1, 4, 5, 8 for my standard. 4, 5, 8 for purist.
Only reason I didn't have Paolini in purist was because he's only in one race and all my riders are in both. Will bring in one sprinter, maybe two for tomorrow but not certain it will be a sprint. Glad I went for Thomas rather than EBH as a lot of people seem to have done. I think EBH is down the pecking order at Sky now. Thomas is the man for the classics.
So, I wasn't watching, following or anything the race today.
Am I right in thinking, the 9 riders I list below all get 10 points for the half way break?
Will Clarke
Florian Vachon
Julien Fouchard
Nico Sijmens
Cyril Lemoine
Jerome Cousin
Zak Dempster
Gatis Smukulis
Preben Van Hecke
Correct (unless someone knows something I don't)
I wonder how many listened to my advice and picked Smukulis like I said in the other thread, he'll have a nice 15 points, unless he came in the top 20.....
I already had Cousin, so didn't want to pick two for the break
Just to inform people, from the early results I'm getting through, at least 2 of the break away guys didn't finish the race and therefore WILL NOT be getting points.
The two so far are Will Clarke and Cyril Lemoine.
Na he came in 141
You are looking at the same results as me, but that is nothing apart from the top 10 in the right place. Look at 19 - DNF but placed 19th.....
Looks like 90 for me
1,5,8,17,19
Even though Haussler didn't finish......
Where are you seeing the results?
I don't think EBH came 17th either
It was Belletti in 12th
im seeeing this
11 Gerald Ciolek (Ger) MTN-Qhubeka 0:06:27
12 Manuel Belletti (Ita) Ag2R La Mondiale
13 Jean-Pierre Drucker (Lux) Accent Jobs-Wanty
14 Alexey Tsatevitch (Rus) Katusha
15 Baptiste Planckaert (Bel) Crelan-Euphony
16 Adrien Petit (Fra) Cofidis, Solutions Credits
17 Edvald Boasson Hagen (Nor) Sky Procycling
18 Sébastien Turgot (Fra) Team Europcar
19 Heinrich Haussler (Aus) IAM Cycling
20 Jack Bauer (NZl) Garmin-Sharp
Where are you getting Haussler didn't finish from?
The two places I'm getting early from say this
19 Heinrich Haussler (AUS) IAM Cycling +6:27 (DNF)
19 DNF Heinrich HAUSSLER AUS IAM 29 +6:27
Eurosport result list
http://uk.yahoo.eurosport.com/cycling/omloop-het-nieuwsblad/2013/road-ra...
I don't know then, all the results I have seen have him 19th and not DNF. In the race they got him mixed up with Goddaert and it was Goddaert the DNF
Right, I'm going on the UCI, who have just updated the Haussler finished and the DNF has gone
1 Luca PAOLINI ITA KAT 36 4:52:15 100 100

19 Heinrich HAUSSLER AUS IAM 29 +6:27
20 Jack BAUER NZL GRS 28 +6:27
I was looking at procycling stats but i've also seen another listing where 19 isn't even on the list so very confused!!!
Ok, scores are updating now
Big fail for me.....19 for standard and 2 for purist
How come no points for Cousin?
He didn't finish the race
He did, came 107th, 12 mins down
Off to look again.....Strange, he has 10 in my csv. Off to run an update again.
Then taking out all the riders
40 and 61 standard and purist, not the start to the classics that is hoped for.
