I've taken a bit of a risk. This is going to be the windiest stage, so if the strong men are going to do something it should be today.

Phinney
Cancellara
Boasson Hagen
Van Avermaet
Van Keirsbulck
Flecha
Goddaert
Rasch
Devolder

If it all goes wrong, I should still have a decent team for the TTT.

Race is apparently split into three groups with Degenkolb in the lead group, Cancellara in the second and Cav in the third.

The race is in pieces, I think Cancellara and EBH are in group 2 45 seconds adrift

Stannard is in the lead group and im pretty sure EBH is not in that group.

Quite a few BMC riders in the lead group and at least 2 other Sky guys, a couple of Argos too

They keep mentioning Cav, I think he is well back

Think Blythe and Kruopis in front group Big Grin

Sounds like a Sky rider won the intermediate sprint but god knows who.

Degenkolb in group one, EBH, Haussler and Kruopis in second group, Cav in third from what I can tell.

Terpstra and Viviani in lead group

2nd group is gonna catch the lead group

Eisel think took the 2nd sprint

posted by TERatcliffe26 [2677 posts] 3rd February 2013 - 13:34

Eisel, Schar, Rollin and Curves in the lead.

EDIT: with a 10 second lead apparently.
