Another Wheelset Topic

I am currently browsing the world wide web for a suitable wheel set for my budget and have come across "Spin Cycle Works".

They produce a Carbon Clincher handbuilt wheelset that has quite taken my fancy. It sits right on my budget of about £600.

(I know the link says tubular but it will take you to the clinchers)

My first question would be whether anyone here has experience of buying/using wheels from Spin? Also, do you guys have any thoghts on Carbon Clinchers?

The other option that is sat right up there are a pair of Campagnolo Eurus Black.

What are your thoughts on the 2 wheelsets?

Many thanks

Thanks both.

@Sam - I have dropped the wheelsmith a line to discuss

@titusrider - That was my concern (heat failure) about the Carbon Clinchers. The Campags are definatly the safer bet in that respect.

If your really want good value carbon clinchers try here:
http://www.light-bicycle.com/carbon-road-bike

if it was me and i was going for 'cheap' carbon i would stick with tubs as you are less likely to get QC or heat build up issues in which case on-one have a good set

Have you checked out http://www.wheelsmith.co.uk/ ? Might be worth giving Derek a call and discussing your requirements.

I'd love a set of his carbon wheels!
