Since my other half bought me Celebration Day (Zeppelin) for crimbo, this has been on. I had the dvd/cd set as she saw the anguish I had on my face when I couldn't afford tickets for the real concert due to bankers, Canary Wharf sorts and MP's inflating the prices.
You could tell, some of the lucky b******s in the croud were 'la la la'ing' - they didn't even know the songs but they could say they had been there......... Gutted.

Phew - anyway, cracking albums and dvd of the concert.

Trikeman. 3

Due to my age i can honestly say i have not heard of most of the groups mentioned above.

My list revolves around:

The Jam
Big Country
SLF
Oasis
Sex Pistols
and a little bit of Coldplay.

Hope i'm getting the new Teenage Kicks cd for crimbo 4

At last someone with good taste; too many Rush fans around here. I'll be asking for age restrictions soon.

I saw Maximo Park at the Manchester Ritz in November. Tell me: What has become of the broken hearted?

Still don't get why people listen to trance music on the Turbo.

Aside from Radio 4 podcasts, I've been listening to:

Verdi Requiem
Brahms Requiem
Mozart Horn Concerto k.447
Mozart Horn Concerto k.495
Finlandia (Sibelius)
Symphony No. 9 in E Minor (New World Symphony, Dvorak)

Aside from them, a mixture of Coldplay, Ben Howard and Bon Iver.
