Not so subtle Evans advertising in Daily Mail?

axisofweasel, November 14, 2012

Just saw this cracker on the Evans Facebook page.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-2232383/Samantha-Cameron-cycle...

Seems like a bad attempt at marketing, going by the comments on the facbook link it probably wasn't the best of ideas to choose the wife of one of the most divisive politicians in recent years.

Did they mention it was £300? Because it totally is, the Camerons, just like you and me...

Going so far as to tell you where to buy it in the sub-headline of the article is a bit blatant...

If the bicycle was invented tomorrow, it would be seen as the solution, not the problem

Those pictures are a set up. Staged by Conservative HQ or the Prime Minister's office.

Well Pinnacle is Evans own brand, so why not jump on it if a high profile person is riding on of your bikes.

The lack of traffic is worrying though Thinking

This is the sum total of the Coalition's cycling policy.

I too thought the lock around the head tube looked like a splendid idea.

Some serious cross-chaining going on there too!

All completely brand new kit! Anyone know how much Evans contributes to the tory party?

"She is frequently seen jogging near her Downing St home..."

Um, shouldn't that be *our* Downing Street home that we* let them borrow?

* Albeit unwillingly for many of us
