Hill climb bikes.
Especially the guy at the end who removed his whole headset pretty much.
I had just watched that and was away to post
Aye, the guy at the end, nutter and a bit OCD about weight saving. I understand some of it, but drilling the seat for a few grams and taking out the headset
Also, anyone care to guess what this is and how the hell its held together??
I was half expecting one of them to do stuff like remove every other spoke, or drill their frames...
How on EARTH is that chainring ^ held on?
Oh, and BTW, 5000 posts coming up, a milestone worth celebrating surely?
I really want to know how that is held together, I don't even know if its a chain ring or a cassette ring, but there were some weird ass set up's
It's bolted to the granny ring mounting holes isn't it? I maybe wrong!
It's a 105 triple crankset with the two outer rings removed and the smallest ring left on - or even a lower MTB granny ring used, but looks just like the normal inner (smallest) ring left on.
Might have been a good idea to cut down the rest of the larger ring mounting 'spokes' to the granny ring mounts - must be like a chainsaw racing round there.
Where's my cycle clips?
