Tour of Beijing
Just a quick heads up to Dave and to start a thread about it.
The race is from the 9th to the 13th, Not 10th to 14th as in the game

The official start list for the 2012 Tour of Beijing will be posted here in the weeks leading up to the even
Apparently all 18 UCI pro teams will be there though 
So going on last year, the only other team will be the Chinese National Team 
Looking at the profiles its only stage 3 that might cause a few problems otherwise its a sprinters tour. As it comes in the middle of the race it'll be interesting to see if anyone wants to go for it cos they will no doubt win the tour on this stage.

Date: 27th August 2012Argos-Shimano will start the 2012 Tour of Beijing after receiving a wild card invitation from Tour organisers.
Date: 26th September 2012Global Cycling Promotion and the local organising committee of the Tour of Beijing discussed with Team Argos-Shimano the option of not participating in the Tour of Beijing. Due to the current circumstances, the team accepted to withdraw from the race.

Argos are not racing due to the Japan-China conflict as isnt shimano japanese? (basically its due to one of there sponsors being japanese, just presumed it was shimano, and thus rider safety and all that)

I always thought sport transcends political boundaries. But I guess not here. With half the field riding Shimano parts, which are mainly made IN CHINA
Argos is a Japanese Oil company and I believe the Japanese have been expelled/advised to leave China?
It's a shame because Degenkolb would have been a popular rider Yaah?
Ray - Argos Oil are from Holland. Shimano are from Japan but do have parts made in China and also Singapore and Malaysia. ARG also aren't a world tour team. They also have a Japanese rider and DS.
Why people think sport should be any different from any other part of life and not be political is beyond me.

Are you sure sky haven't withdrawn Swift? and thus Cycling fever could be up to date? as Swift was there all week on Cycling Fever till today, well this afternoon
Also you have Bardet in Movistar team
And you sure on Visconti? He raced in Italy just yesterday
Oh yeah, Bardet can't be on both teams. lol
Visconti. I have no idea. I'm just listing what the tour is because they haven't put together a startlist yet...
Swift is listed on Sky's own website
Its farsical that the lists haven't been put out yet.
Its not Dave's fault by any means.

I've gone and picked a team already, packed it full of sprinters.....
Hopefully won't need to change anyone now.
