Recommended Valve Length on Easton EA 30 Wheels? 40mm 0r 52mm???

Hi all,

Just bought some new tyres for my Easton ea30 Wheels; and looking to buy some good quality inner tubes! I've done some google searches to no avail, (useless) can anyone tell me the correct valve length for the Easton EA 30, custom wheels?

Also some advise on inner tubes that last; and are pretty lightweight?

Thanks

I can't find anything on the 30's. But the 50's only have 30mm. 39

Not a big fan of valve extenders.

How deep are your EA30 rims? Specialized (v. short valve) and Conti tubes aren't as good as Schwalbe SV15 for me, which has a 40mm valve which should be OK for rims than 30mm.

For deeper section wheels Schwalbe SV15XL (or SV20XL, the lightweight version) have an very long Presta valve, just long enough for 50mm rims.

Get yourself some valve extenders and you'll never be caught out.

Something like this http://www.wiggle.co.uk/bbb-bti-97-valve-extension-50mm/
