Hi,

I am selling my LAPIERRE XELIUS 200 - 2011.

It's a full carbon frame and fork, full Ultegra equiped.

Lapierre is a french manufacturer - They provide the bikes for many teams in France and the FDJ team.

The Xelius is the racing frame designed for the FDJ team.
It's the really light frame, only 860 grs, really really stiff and responsive.

The story
I bought it in January from a cycling club in France to do triathlons. The bike had barely 500km.

Since then, I used it more on the turbotrainer than on the roads (only on the dry). I raced 3 times with it (Sprint, Olympic and 70.3).
Each time the bike was great. It's light, super stiff, and can go really fast if you have the legs (which I don't). It's a bit aero on the front area, and works well with clip on tribars. It's light on climbing, easy to ride in the corners.

The bike is in mint condition except a light scuff on the left crankset, and 2 small chips on the varnish on the rear left side, other than that, it's looking good (check the pictures for the details).

It's a high quality product, handmade in France, and the frame design is really well made.

It's a fast bike, and the combo frame/fork has an huge potential to make a lightweight bike. I couldn't afford racing wheels, but this is definitely a bike to start with and save a bit of weight on the wheels and get a 7.5 kg racer!

I'd love to keep it and make it evolve, but at the moment I don't have the legs to make it go fast, so it's a bit wasted with me. Be warned! It will makes your quads burn! Big Grin
