I was at my daughter's club track champs. Given the level of organisation, I wish I'd stayed at home and watched this instead

I will have a solid score with Clarke and Da la Fuente, but had i gone Capecchi instead of De Gendt it would have been a good score

Same here, went for De Gendt, maybe he'll attack later when the gap comes down. Got Clarke but took out De La Fuente a couple of stages ago.
Apert from that most teams are pretty similar. There's no chance of a big jump up the table like I did in the TdF as I've got the same other 3 stars as everyone else. With no stage prize to go for it's not worth risking going out of the overall top 20, which is my only target now.
Looking forward to watching the stage though.
Had a lovely ride in Suffolk yesterday; glorious day for a ride and I had a day off work. About 80 miles in perfect sunshine. I was going to do more but didn't take any extra suntan cream so I didn't want to risk sunburn. Not normally a problem this summer.
Now I've got red wine (Spanish of course) and beef sandwiches to enjoy. Might go on the exercise bike in front of the TV when they get to the big climb, on the other hand I might be too pissed by then to bother 3 3

I've got J-Rod, Valverde and De La Fuente plus sprinters - going for a high stage finish tomorrow...

My purist team has 3 in the break though, Machado seems to have tried to get in the break on every mountain stage so good to see he's finally made it - shame he didn't do it when he was still in my other team...

Montaguti could be the one to watch - he did this in the last stage of the Tour de Suisse...
