So everyone seems to wonder about Astana's sponsorship, I did a little research and blogged it. Pretty interesting if you're a massive nerd like me Smile Nerd ..Once again apologies for the blog plugging.

Pretty much like Colombia-Coldeportes then?

I'm sure they are a government supported team.

But Team Sky aren't government funded though, they just put money into British cycling alongside the governments and lotto funding don't they? Thinking

yes, correct. Team Sky aren't. I meant the British Cycling Track Team... maybe I should've been more specific.

Colombia-Coldeportes and Euskaltel-Euskadi are other semi-government funded (or regional in the Basques' case) cycling teams. Smile Pretty interesting.
