Settings for a Garmin Edge 200
Just got myself a Garmin Edge 200 and have a query re one of the settings.
Could be a stupid question but do I set the distance as Statute UK or Miles?
What is the difference?
I use km's as it helps me feel more like a pro
Like your kind of thinking SD
Ha, thats exactly what i thought setting up my new one as well, kms are more, so must be further!
Just in case you missed it - theres £30 cashback on the Garmin website for the 200:

Velominati, Rule 24
Speeds and distances shall be referred to and measured in kilometers.
This includes while discussing cycling in the workplace with your non-cycling coworkers, serving to further mystify our sport in the web of their Neanderthalic cognitive capabilities. As the confused expression spreads across their unibrowed faces, casually mention your shaved legs. All of cycling’s monuments are measured in the metric system and as such the English system is forbidden.

I like it Andy
Speed in kms, climbs in feet, temperatures in fahrenheit.
