TdS Stage 7

Well I could lie and say my team is the same as yesterday, only decided to make 3 transfers as dont wanna mess up my DS's too much with the climbing stages on sat/sun, and also the fact i couldnt identify a larrson type that should top 10.

So my team ive gone for

Rui Costa
Cancellara
Fuglsang
Danielson

Pinot
Caruso
Albasini
Izagirre
Moser

Im hoping that if 3 of my stars can top 10, the other top 20 and maybe albasini and moser top 20 then i can stick in there, but today is all about trying not to loose ground. then hopfully take some risks that pay off tomorrow with my 3 transfers i will have

Cancellara 1-2 with the bookies. One horse race?!

Quite fancy Danielson to come top 3 overall ... only 29" behind and can TT.

I've got a feeling Roche will go well today and fully expect Kreuziger to be race leader by the end of this TT.

My Team

Roche
Cancellara
Rui Costa
Kreuziger
Moser
Lofqvist
Cooke
Anderson
Pinot

3 transfers for tomorrow

I'm with you on that one Silas. I have gone for a very similar team.

Had to decide between...
Leipheimer and Cataldo OR
Fuglsang and Lofkvist.
Went with the latter but don't know much about Lofkvist so might be wrong.

Anyway, I have...
Cancellara, Fuglsang, Costa, Frank
Albasini, Moser, Elmiger, Lofkvist, Pinot

I'm hoping I'm right when I say I think Costa is a better TTer than some people think. And that the Swiss are peaking for their home tour, as I have 4 of them!

Actually, it doesn't really matter if I'm right about Costa or not, as pretty much everyone has him anyway...

well I've listened to the Eurosport and gone

Cancellara
fugulsang
danielson
liephiemer

dropped Kreuziger, Costa, sagan & freire.

ds's unchanged

Pinot
Lofkvist
Anderson
Izagirre
Duggan

Kessiakoff just gone quicker than Cancellara!!

10 or 12 left to finish - Kessiakoff leads with Cancellara second, then Monfort, Roy and Gesink...

That top 5 stays the same, Rui Costa finishes 8th - best of all the top 20 on GC I think.

GC is now...
Rui Costa
Kreuziger
Gesink
Valverde
Frank Schleck
Danielson
Leipheimer
Gusev
Lovkvist
Kruiswijk

Fuglsang was a disappointing 33rd, must not be fully recovered from his injury yet...

Finally some points from gesink. But where was mollema?

Caught some of it while travelling on a bus to another hotel, but it was swiss/german comms. Not great
