Criterium Du Dauphine stage 4

So how do we think this one is gonna go?

A Wggins/Martin or Martin/Wiggins 1-2? or can someone else spoil that party....im not so sure over 53km, the question is if martin wins and takes yellow, can he hold on through the weekend?

May as well throw my team out now

Rogers
Wiggins
Martin
Brajkovic

Coppel
Simon
Gallopin
Durbridge
Pires

Not wholly satisfied, however could have all my stars in the top 10, as well as a couple of my DS's in the top 20
Took a punt on Pires, has the potential to scrape the top 20, but also more as he could go in a breakaway over the coming days...

Kinda given up on the Dauphine despite still moving up in the overall, my team (with minimum thought) is:

Wiggins
Evans
Chavanel
Millar (to put forward his case for Olympic selection)

Simon
Kreder
Durbridge
Bouhanni
Bernaudeau

Don't even know what the next couple of stages look like so no idea what my transfers will be...

Well having had a pretty poor Dauphine i've taken a penalty to try get some points back Sick

Bradley Wiggins
Janez Brajkovic
Tony Martin
Luis Leon Sanchez

Hayden Roulston
Leigh Howard
Andriy Grivko
Jerome Coppel
Luke Durbridge

I'd like the top 3 finishers today and i'll be more than happy Big Grin

Hasn't really been working out for me either but hopefuly this will be the stage that shakes it all up.

My Team

Wiggins
Chavanel
Evans
Rogers
Bernaudeau
Gallopin
Grivko
Westra(high hopes for him today after Paris-Nice)
Kelderman(TT too long for Lukey Boy so I hope Wilco can top 20)

Just hope 'Der Panzerwagon' isn't on top form.

Durbridge smashing it at the minute, 30-something seconds up on Rosseler/Meyer. Average of 52.7kmph for the first 18km. Unless he has a problem or has gone out too hard he should be a shoe-in for a top 20 position.

Durbridge really kicking ass! Big Grin

Wow, I didn't realise that Schleck had lost nearly 10 minutes! Wow!

He really is screwed for this years TdF isn't he? I reckon he won't even finish it, he'll do a Frank and once he's lost his shot of winning he'll fall off and throw in the towel.

Those two really are hopeless against the clock... or do you reckon he's bluffing? Devil

Shrek fell off.....His mangled backside says that he is not bluffing.....OUCH..... Smile

Now im regretting my risk of Pires rather than going Kelderman or Plaza Sad , other than that not looking too shabby (as didnt expect too much from Gallopin and Simon)

Bah, have two of the slowest five riders (Kreder and Bouhanni) but not the slowest Sad

Looking ok so far, Chavanel going well, Evans, Wiggins and Millar should score well and Durbridge looks set for a top 10. Not as bad as I'd expected.

deciding Kelderman would not top 20 so took a risk could cost me a chance of winning the dauphine Sad

1/2/4/7/9/10 ...only couldve picked better if i took out Westra not Gallopin (for Durbridge) and put in Rogers not Millar (for Ciolek). Happy though Big Grin Good Day for mee! Smile

Had Wiggins, Martin, Evans and Grivko top 15. Nearly put durbridge and rogers in but decided against the 20 point penalty! Oops

Yeah, I thought of picking him as well. Toss up between him and Durbridge and went wiith Durbridge because of his form. Would have been about top 5 on the stage if I'd chosen Kelderman rather than Grivko and kept Durbridge, but 182 wasn't too shabby. Nearly caught you up Wink Wink

Taken a risk for tomorrow but not saying what it is Wink Wink

174 points puts me up to 3rd in the purist league best score I have ever had !!!!

posted by Dylan Churchill [8 posts] 7th June 2012 - 23:54

192pts puts me 15th on the stage and I rise a massive 500 places in the Dauphine,25 overall and 2 in the regional.

Gambling on stage 5 a bit hoping for a KOM shootout so brought in Kadri and Edet for Grivko and Westra(nervous about leaving Lieuwe out to be honest).

Team
Evans
Chavanel
Wiggins
Rogers
Bernaudeau
Edet
Gallopin
Kelderman
Kadri
