There you go.  Built by me.  I've posted this bike before but have since changed the forks and stuck some 650b's on it and gone through a load of mud.  Love it.

These were saved from Craig's List for $40 each and including that I've got less than $100 each in them. They're top notch for my purposes and are all I need.

Just another any old bike bought from a shop. I like a bike from a shop, any sort of shop that sells bikes. I've bought a few now.

Bought this bike from a shop on the internet and built it myself by hand without looking at the instructions. As you can see it has a monotube construction with a 0x0 drivetrain with trick grip tape on the rear stays for fast descents. The saddle is the latest in adventure biking with a handle for carrying the bike up a mountain. Tubeless tyres on lightweight 5 spoke carbon wheels complete the package.

My Sunday best bike, only sees the light of day on dry sunny days. Built up with mostly NOS parts, DA 7400Sti on Ambrosio rims

CAAD10 track bike. Mrs bought  for indoor use.

Fancied taking it out on the road. Have installed front brake and freewheel. Feels ok at 10kilos.

There's a label on the top tube with severe warning about road use.

Any ideas on how to install back brake? No drill hole except 2 small ones at front.

Not worried about warranty.

Hit by a van at the start of September = shattered ankle and shattered bike frame. Well, the ankle may still be broken, but my bike has been resurrected with a new frame. Front end position still needs to be adjusted, probably with a different stem, but it's almost there.

Won't be able to walk without crutches for months, but riding on the turbo will be an important part of rehab.

Boardman SLS 9.8 Disc frame, ultegra groupset and pedals, DT Swiss RC 38 wheels, Schwalbe Pro One 28mm tyres, Fizik Cyrano stem and Fizik Antares versus saddle, Ergon seatpost, Enve SES Aero road handlebar, stages powermeter.

Well after a very long and mostly patient wait the day has eventually arrived and ......... it's here;

I must say I'm very pleased with the final result. The build took a little longer than originally planned but Jason Rourke got involved in some more Guy Martin build stuff across the summer which you can't really blame him for.

The bike rides like a dream, the weather has tried it's best to stop me getting out during the last 2 weeks but I did manage a good 55km yesterday morning and love it. Ride is superb, so comfortable despite the new saddle (Brooks C13....I wasn't too sure about that). Dura-Ace Di2 is unquestionably better than me, so slick and quick. Speedplay pedals are quite stiff and will likely take a little getting used to but I'm certain that I'm going to enjoy riding this lovely machine very much.......bring on the spring.

Complete with retro barbell. I had those in about 1990!

Early crimbo pressent to myself.... saw one and knew I had to have it in that colour.

Full Dura Ace is a nice upgrade from Campag Athena on my other bike, it's a nice comfortable bike that I'm sure will be brilliant for some longer, hilly sportives this year. I was worried XL would be too big but it fits perfect. New wheels next purchase but very happy with it.

Winter bike, also the only bike I currently own that works. Giant Trance 3 2017, picture taken on the C2C route near Consett last weekend.

My freshly-built retro bike.  TVT Carbone frame from 1991, Campag C-Record bits.  Stripped and resprayed into the Lemond Team Z colours of that era.

It only plays out when the roads are dry 1
