Pictures of your Bike

by Raleigh   May 30, 2012

So, I figured that no bicycle forum would be complete without pictures of bikes! Post your photos here, no bike will be refused: Road TT Triathlon Cyclocross MTB BMX Shixie Fixie And anything else! Lovely bikes lovely, but everyday bikes interesting too. I won't post first, but I'm taking pictures right now. Smile I wanna see what bikes you're all riding!

Just picked up my Giant Propel Advanced 1 - full shimano Ultegra apart from the brakes, which are Giant's own aero design.
Only got to do a 8mile ride home but it is a beauty.

Drooling Applause
Flippin eck that's tidy...
But for full points, please can we have a proper drive side photo in big ring and small cassette cog, cranks lined up with chainstays and without bottles against a neutral background...

Its supplied with Sram Red, but I went down the dream build option that they offer... Only completed a 40 mile club run so far but smiled from ear to ear the whole time.

Built earlier this month:

Pinnacle Dolomite 5 2014 frame & fork, Campagnolo Athena silver alloy groupset, Superstar Components Elite 24 wheels with Continental GP Classic tyres, Planet X CNC brakes, Charge saddle & bar tape, various parts from KCNC (bars, bar plugs, stem, headset, seatpost, seatpost clamp)

It was a fairly low-cost build, with the exception of some silly expensive stuff like the Jagwire Elite Links cable outers or the Tune quick release skewers, but both components work well, they look good *and* they are lightweight, so ... Cool well worth it IMHO.

Comes in at 7.8 kg including pedals. Day Dreaming Accelerates like mad.

When I cut the steerer tube I erred on the side of caution, leaving a bit of a safety margin, but after a few test rides with the stem slammed I'm pretty sure I won't need it, so that's going to come off soon.

I apologise for having the chain in the small ring & big sprocket, but what you can't see on that picture is the climb from hell to the right of the camera that I had just come up and was taking a well deserved rest from.

Got milk? Doesn't fit in your bottle cage? Get a Carton Cage.
