Giro d'Italia Stage 1 - ITT
We're almost there! Can Geraint get Sky off to a perfect start? Will Saxobank get a win on home turf? Or will celeste reign?
Would love to see a Saxo win back home, but i dont see them doing enough damage to be honest. I have a feeling for BMC and Thor in Pink the first week
I wouldn't rule out Boaro, but probably not enough for the win. Same applies for JJ Haedo on Sunday and Monday, I guess.
As far as BMC is concerned, it will be interesting to see how the pink ambitions pan out for Phinney (very focussed to win, explosive, probably best suited for a technical and possivly slippery circuit) and Hushovd (motivated as well, close to home). A few secs on Saturday may decide who will be the lead-out man and who will be sprinting for bonus time in the days to come.
Pinotti will probably settle for pink later on...
Debarrio
Rasmussen/Larssen/Thomas 123 in any order you want
Take out Gustav and I will settle for that
I have the top 6 on my team. Just not telling who :-p

Unfortunately, 6 of them will be between 21 & 30...

Might win?!
1,2,3 & 14 + 5. That's not a bad start. Hoping I've made the right call for my transfers now
1,2,3,4,18 = 149 points - quite pleased with that
. I had a couple of disappointing performers today, but at least I don't have any transfer dilemmas for tomorrow now.
157 for me, enough for = 110th
Big scored today, but already 60 behind the leader
1, 2, 3, 4 and 8. Couple of either/or calls went wrong way and could have resulted in totally bumper day. Not complaining mind.
Upgraded to premium account but not on the 'premium leaderboard'. Anyone else the same?

I don't think the premium leaderboard has formed itself yet, no-one is on it
Thanks, let's hope it's up and running soon.
bit of mess up and by the looks of my team for tomorrow i wont gain any points and am more likely to loose ground again
premium leaderboard should be up and running now
Not a bad result - 120 points, but i've got my main sprinters in for the rest of the week without any difficulty so hopefully when the mountains arrive i will have built up a few extra transfers.
Stumpy

I did the same as you, dropped pinotti for hushovd and brought in bobridge for boaro...
My hope is the those at the top of the leaderboard are really TT heavy and won't get many sprint points in the next stages. That's what happened when I had a blinding opening prologue in the Paris-Nice but couldn't transfer sprinters in fast enough and lost ground.
On a side note, my purist team scored a nice round 0. Thinking Phinney might have been a good pick as he'll surely keep the jersey a while and score well in the TTT and final ITT (assuming he gets there).
